Call Planning grant for international proposal 2025

Purpose and goal

To develop circular and climate-neutral building solutions that reduce the environmental impact of the construction sector. Objective: Measurably lower climate footprint, increased recycling and new business models for sustainable construction in Europe.

Expected effects and result

Expected results are reduced climate footprint and construction waste, increased use of recycled and carbon-absorbing materials, and new business models for circular construction. The effects will be more sustainable buildings, strengthened innovative capacity, and new standards.

Planned approach and implementation

The planned structure includes seven work areas: project management/consortium building, development of efficient and carbon-negative materials, circular processes, digitalization and AI-based design, life cycle analysis and business models. Implementation will take place via demonstrations in different countries and climate zones to test and validate the solutions in real environments. The Vinnova project will result in an EU proposal.
