Important results from the project
The project provided support to collaborate nationally and internationally to participate in an Horizon Europe project application. Discussions were held with Swedish companies, of which one company, NG Nordic Sweden AB, is involved in a proposal together with Swerim and several other (16) international companies, institutes and universities. Jönköpings Technical university which was part of the project withdrew its participation. The project resulted in a proposal which was submitted April 20.
Expected long term effects
In addition to the project application, national contacts between Swerim, NG Nordic, JTH and Volvo Cars have been strengthened, which will facilitate new research collaborations. Furthermore, contacts between AIT and the Swedish participants have been strengthened, which will also lead to new research collaborations. Collaborations within the Horozon Europe-funded project are likely.
Approach and implementation
The project´s aim was to support the work of forming a consortium of Swedish and European companies, research institutes and university colleges/universities. Swerim was already part of a European consortium and contacted several Swedish companies and a technical university college. After many meetings with Swedish stakeholders and within the large European consortium, a proposal was submitted with Swerim and a Swedish company as co-applicants.
