Important results from the project

The project´s aim was to create a chemical management system with a training module that even smaller companies can afford, to help them meet legal requirements and create a safe working environment. The goal was to create a beta version of the system in collaboration with selected beta testers. The project has received a good response from the beta testers regarding the interactive design and educational videos. Despite that the goal was never reached, we have received crucial feedback from potential customers, something that would not have been possible without the project.

Expected long term effects

The result of the project is a prototype of a chemical management system with completed training for the training module. The response has been above expectations and the beta customers are very positive towards future development. The trainings that has been created has already been used by the beta customers. We have now tested the idea against the market and had it evaluated at an early stage. This means that we can with greater certainty develop a system that the market needs. During the project, we have started a discussion about collaborations with various stakeholders in the market.

Approach and implementation

The project was divided into 3 parts. Development of design, interaction with beta customers, training modules, and system development. Despite delays, we see that the work has been carried out in a good way with a good response. A fourth phase, the development phase, will begin in 2021.
