Purpose and goal
The target of reaching a more sustainable development, both within climate and other environmental issues, means that we as consumers must become aware of, take responsibility for and as a result also change our everyday behavior. The aim of CHECK OUT is to develop a demonstrator service that helps food consumers to take greater environmental responsibility through offering decision support at the moment of purchase, as well as supporting consumption planning regarding more sustainable purchases and less food waste.
