Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** Collaborative intelligent transport systems "Cooperative intelligent transport systems" (C-ITS) is crucial for the next step towards a safe, efficient and green transport system. An enabler for C-ITS-applikationer is V2V communication and V2I communication (V2I). for V2X, 5G and designed such an antenna system and integrated in vehicles with associated verifications.

Expected results and effects

Through the project, in-depth knowledge within V2X has been achieved. The project has developed antenna concepts, built prototypes and verified performance in labs and on a complete car. Through the project, opportunities have been opened up that have resulted in the nomination of a new project for the automotive industry as well as the development of so-called. general antenna solutions for a wider market. Measurement results and the collaboration with RISE have resulted in an increased understanding of how the system performance becomes dependent on antenna placement on vehicles.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has reviewed of known technology and research results. Developed antenna structures in CST microwave studio. Prototype production of antenna structures, measurement in lab, return loss, gain, radiation efficiency. Different antenna locations have been tested on vehicles and results from complete vehicle simulations been verified on complete vehicles in collaboration with RISE and VCC. Simulated and measured RF parameters have been used in channel simulation in a tool that RISE has developed during the project.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
