Purpose and goal

The main target for the project is the creation of a solid ecosystem for innovators/entrepreneurs within the start-up sphere with focus on networking and knowledge exchange. The project and the events within it, has gathered over 1000 entrepreneurs and stakeholders and helped create some serious results. One of the goals of 2013 was to expand events to other regions - which has been done successfully.

Results and expected effects

The expected result was mainly an active contribution to increasing the number of financed and executed, Internet-related projects. The result was achieved by arranging events with high gravity and benefit for the entrepreneurs. The project was also expected to generate data which will be used for research to improve the business development efforts being made. The project led to discussions on financing of start-ups, according to survey responses from participants in the events. Furthermore, data collected contributed to published scientific articles.

Approach and implementation

The execution of the project has been effective and successful. The project started Q1 2013 with the creation of a project plan. The project management system PPS was used for managing and controlling the project. All events have been planned in detail with a separate project plan. The events were usually run together with a key person well connected to the intended target group. All events were evaluated. The growing database of stakeholders made it easier to extract information about what the stakeholders needed and asked for.
