Important results from the project
The project aimed at identifying and establishing possible co-operation with companies in Finland, Denmark, Germany and Lithuania for companies in Sweden within New Tools for health´s focused areas (independence for people with chronic diseases, specifically diabetes and congestive heart failure, and independence for elderly people, specifically in relation to prevention of loneliness and fall prevention). Five possible co-operation constellations were identified.
Expected long term effects
The objective was to identify and establish two co-operation constellations with business potential, each with participation from at least two of the other partners in the Baltic sea cooperation Stardust/Active for Life. The project identified five, but it was difficult to go from opportinity to real busniess. In order for that to happen, all involved parties has to be at a proper and common stage in their strategic development.
Approach and implementation
Travels were made to Finland, Denmark and Germany. Through the other partners in Stardust/Active for Life meetings with companies ere arranged. In total, meetings have been made with 33 actors, which were later followed up by other meetings, phone and e-mail.
