Purpose and goal

The project resulted in a methodology to understand the safety benefit of introducing new technology in today car fleet. The methodology have a great chance to be European standard and thereby be part of push for a technology towards optimally safety equipped cars.

Results and expected effects

The results was a base in the ongoing harminization work and will be a base in coming academic theses.

Approach and implementation

The major part of the work was performed by the industry based PhD student. Even if the ambition was to come further with the thesis work, the project has secured a direct benefit for the society as well as coming thesis work (including the work of the specific PhD student)
