Purpose and goal

The following long-term goals is based on the vertical and horizontal scenario that the feasibility study has addressed and which are described as use cases (see Appendix ) . 1. Accessibility / availability / transport efficiency 2. Environmental 3. Safety 4. Comfort In these areas we propose solutions based on data collected from vehicles, drivers and road networks and adaptations of Big Data Analytics that provides more efficient and safer transports with less environmental impact.

Results and expected effects

A full feasibility study (see attachments) has been developed with : 1. Background and current situation 2. Objectives and needs description 3. Investigation and Analysis of common horizontal needs 4. Approach and implementation

During the pilot study we conducted six days of Workshops with all parties and in between working sessions in smaller constellations. Background and current situation was documented and after that we made a gap analysis . Recommendations: Create a strategic program for Big Automotive Data Analytics. Immediately start a first project which includes the basic prerequisites needed for get the full benefit of Big Data Analytics.
