Project duration | April 2020 - April 2022 |
Status | Ongoing |
Purpose and goal
The project´s aim is to increase the degree of integration of test control systems developed in previous research projects, Chronos and Chronos 2. The goal is therefore to adapt AstaZero´s own test equipment and further develop functions to a level that the system can be used in testing at AstaZero.
Expected results and effects
After the end of the project, the test control system is expected to be more integrated in the operations at AstaZero, while the test efficiency in use has increased. This is expected to increase AstaZero´s competence within the area of testing advanced ADAS and AD functions, which is currently a challenging task. This will provide a good springboard for future research and ultimately help Swedish industry.
Planned approach and implementation
The project is divided into five different work packages, where the work packages are largely independent of each other. Work packages 2 and 3 are partly dependent on work package 1, which means that the project will initially focus on this particular work package. The project aims to apply an agile and scrum-like work method where planning and follow-up happens every three weeks. This means that the project can easily adapt to changing conditions and redirect resources based on this. Since the project is largely software-focused, this approach fits very well.
