Important results from the project

The goal of this project was to provide an automated and unbiased platform for the usability evaluation of medical devices. Initiating the commercialisation of the platform through early-stage solution sales and customer engagement was also aimed.

Expected long term effects

InnoBrain has succeeded to release its first version of the platform limited to early customers. Several pilot studies have been accomplished leading to signed LOIs and agreements with different stakeholders including medical device companies and tier 2 suppliers. The platform was verified together with customers and partners. The data collection has also been performing to further train the machine learning algorithms to increase the accuracy of the results.

Approach and implementation

The project was divided into four main work packages with a focus on customer engagement and building the beta version of the software. In stage 1, platform adaption of the available MVP was done according to the customers’ needs during pilot studies wherein stage 2, pilot testing, and verification with customers have been accomplished. Using feedback from customers and partners, in step 3, prototype development and modification has been accomplished. In stage 4, product packaging for the Beta release of the software was prepared and the beta version was successfully launched.
