Important results from the project

Maskinöversatt The purpose of investigating whether patients ´adherence to prescriptions can be increased in healthcare, using digital tools, and in this increase patients´ understanding, participation, motivation, and self-efficacy, is fulfilled. We have achieved the goals to - develop a tool for the above aim with new software in 5G watch and web application, - carry out 3 smaller patient tests for a total of about 3 months, feedback from these tests has been continuously worked into the tool, - complete an ethics application ahead of a major patient group test that will be carried out

Expected long term effects

Maskinöversatt Effects are increased understanding among our parties how we can work with chronic patients´ compliance, both clinical increased understanding and how the tool should be designed, and positive feedback from patients and staff where it is judged that the tool increases compliance. The conclusion is that it is very much about tools and staff to support patients´ understanding, participation, motivation, and self-efficacy about their illness.

Approach and implementation

Maskinöversatt The very close, iterative and parallel collaboration with staff, and in part patients, and the various work packages have proved very successful. We have in less iterative steps built on with functionality in the tool, worked in feedback from tests, worked in parallel in agile work packages, and then taken the next functionality step. We end up about 2 months after schedule. Mainly due to c-19 at the kidney clinic, but also delivery delays of equipment, among other things from China due to the c-19 situation, and also sick leave in the project that affected several key people.
