Important results from the project

The project objectives were met and the company has strengthened its academic and business relations with Canada through participation, both in terms of strategic partnerships and in application areas. The project led to several concrete follow-up discussions about collaboration and joint projects within Horizon Europe and other tools.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to lead to accelerated commercialization of the company´s offerings, as well as academic partnerships and the formation of the Svensk-Kanadensiksa consortium for collaboration. In addition, the project will lead to expanded innovation collaboration between Sweden and Canada and illustrate how this can be done successfully.

Approach and implementation

The project was implemented through a programme set up and implemented by RISE, where the company as part of the Swedish consortium visited Canadian actors within the academia and innovation ecosystem. In addition, targeted meetings were arranged with Canadian actors, as well as participation in Sweden-Canada Innovation Day 2025; where the companies represented Svensk Innovation and presented their solutions.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
