The strategic innovation programs of the future is now being designed

The Swedish Energy Agency, Formas and Vinnova have a government assignment to jointly lay the foundation for the next generation's strategic innovation program. In order to give the programs a clear direction, the authorities have identified a number of societal challenges that the initiative will help to solve. The overall societal challenges are:

• Production, consumption and value chains within the planet's boundaries
• Good and equal health
• Attractive and well-functioning communities

In April and May, the authorities invite dialogues with different types of actors to capture more perspectives for the continued work. The workshops are held both physically and digitally, on five different occasions:

- 5 April 13.00-16.00, workshop on site in Stockholm, Norrsken
- April 7 14.00-16.00, digital workshop
- 20 April 13.00-16.00, workshop on site in Gothenburg, United Spaces
- 27 April 14.00-16.00, digital workshop
- 5 May 13.00-16.00, workshop on site in Luleå, Elite Stadshotellet

Welcome to make an expression of interest to participate!

Anyone who wants to contribute is welcome to make an expression of interest. We care about having participants who represent different perspectives, experiences and driving forces at each workshop, therefore we can not guarantee everyone who registers a place. Everyone will be offered the opportunity to contribute in some way, but the physical workshops have a maximum number. Here you do expression of interest to participate:

What happens next?

At the end of June, we will land in a clear direction for the program and in the autumn of 2022, we will return with the program's overall design and open up the possibility for actors to apply for funding for further involvement.
