FFI Safe Automated Driving

The sub-programme FFI Safe Automated Driving has the task of increasing traffic safety and making transportation more sustainable through secure connected automated vehicles prepared for shared use.

Apply for funding

The degree of automation will increase over a long period of time, opening up new opportunities for vehicle design, transport solutions and use, while new safety aspects must be addressed. Implementation of automation and development of transport solutions must not only be safe but also play a role in achieving improved long-term road safety.

FFI Safe Automated Driving will contribute to:

  • Concrete innovative solutions that make traffic safety a driving force for automation
  • Technology and knowledge building that creates conditions for Swedish industry and academia to achieve world class in the field
  • Att Sverige becomes a leader in secure automated transportation of people and goods
