More about the calls for proposals
The European Commission has now published a draft of the new Horizontal Activities (Horizontal Activities), a new element of Horizon Europe that will help to link different parts of the programme and support the EU's strategic priorities and is intended to act as a bridge between Horizon Europe and the next Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, FP10.
These upcoming NATURE calls for proposals for 2027 provide an early glimpse into the priorities expected to shape FP10. The focus is on biodiversity, transformative change, nature restoration, One Health and the links between oceans, climate and ecosystems with the aim of translating research and innovation into concrete societal benefits and a nature-positive transition.
Draft – Horizon Europe Work Programme 2026–2027 – Part 14: Horizontal Activities
The new calls for proposals cover two areas. One is NATURE, which is the focus of this meeting. The other area, BRIDGING ACTIONS, covers the crosscutting themes of Knowledge valorisation and data access, Research infrastructures and data access, and Artificial Intelligence, which will be presented at a separate information meeting on 18 September Information meeting: EU's new Bridging actions
