EUREKA cluster co-funding: Celtic Plus: research and innovation projects in the field of ICT

Projects that contribute to innovations in the field of information and communications technology (ICT) can receive funding under the European programme EUREKA’s cluster network.

What can you apply for? 

Research and innovation projects with a focus on information and communications technology (ICT) in the fields of network and cloud services, such as 5G, the internet of things, smart cities, security or robustness. The project outcome may for example be prototypes or demonstrations of interest to customers on an international market.

Who can apply? 

Swedish companies, organisations, research institutes and universities. The applicant must be part of a consortium with parties from at least two of the countries participating in EUREKA. At least one company with a Swedish operating site must take part. To make a successful application for national funding to Vinnova, participation from major companies, SMEs and academia/research institutes is usually required.

How much can you apply for? 

There is no upper limit for the amount, but we will fund a maximum of 50 percent of the project’s costs that are eligible for funding. Normally, we provide funding in the magnitude of SEK 5-15 million. The project period is generally three years.
