The aim of this Swelife and Medtech4Health joint call for project proposals, is to help to maintain Sweden’s position as one of the world leading countries within life science. The goal is to promote renewal and innovation for a more value-added healthcare and increase sustainable growth in the life science sector in Sweden.
Innovation projects with great potential to contribute to improved prevention, diagnosis, monitoring or treatment. There must be a significant need and demand for the solution from the end user.
Collaborative projects with participants from at least two of the sectors: healthcare, academia/institute and private sector.
Max. SEK 3 000 000 and max. 50 percent of the project’s total budget.The total budget of the call is SEK 24 million.
To apply for funding, you need to complete an application form in our application portal, Intressentportalen. The form contains questions about your project, project members and budget.
Please download the documents that you need to attach to your application, for example, the template for a CV or a project description.
Keep in mind that it can take several days to gather the information you need to complete your application, so it’s a good idea to start early. That way, you can save your details and come back to your application, making adjustments until you submit it.
Once your application has been registered, we'll send a confirmation email to the person responsible for the user account, as well as to the project manager and the company signer. Please note that this may take a few hours after the call has closed.
After the closing date, you can't register any new information. You may only add information to your application if we ask for it.
Applications submitted to us become official documents. However, we don't disclose information about business operations, inventions or research results if it can be assumed that someone will suffer economic damage if we do.
This means that we must disclose the documents if someone requests them. However, we can black out information if we believe it could cause economic harm if disclosed.
