What can you apply for?

For international collaboration in project focusing on information and communication technologies (ICT) in networks and cloud services, such as digital security, artificial intelligence, 5G, the Internet of Things, smart cities or e- health.

Who can apply?

Research organizations or industrial consortia with at least two independent organizations from at least two countries that are members of EUREKA. At least one Swedish small or medium-sized company (SME) must participate. Companies must account for at least 60 percent of the work effort (measured in time). Proposal should be sent to CELTIC-NEXT.

How much can you apply for?

There is no upper limit, but we finance a maximum of 50 percent of the project´s eligible costs. We usually fund the projects with between SEK 5 and 15 million. The projects generally run over three years.

The call for proposal is made within the framework of the EUREKA cluster CELTIC NEXT, an international innovation cluster for information and communication technology (ICT).

    In order to receive funding, the results must be relevant to the competitiveness of the Swedish business community. Expected project results are, for example, prototypes and demonstrators of interest to potential customers in an international market, as well as grant to international standards. For a successful proposal on national funding for Vinnova, participation from both major companies, SMEs and academia / research institutes is normally required.

    CELTIC Office offers support during consortium building and regularly organizes networking events where there is the opportunity to pitch his idea and discuss with potential partners.
