Electronics, software and communication - FFI - June 2021

With this the offer we want to support project which increases competence and development in the automotive sector with the help of <span class = ´notranslate´ > research and innovation in electronics, software or communication. The goal of the initiative is to contribute to a global leadership in vehicle electronics and software and to increase the competence to effectively develop new vehicle concepts. The offer is part of the Vehicle Strategic research and innovation (FFI) program.

The offer in brief

What can you apply for?

Preliminary studies and full-scale projects that increase competence and develop the road vehicle sector with the help of innovation and research in electronics, software or communication.

Who can apply?

Research organizations or companies, preferably in collaboration.

How much can you apply for?

The maximum amount for feasibility studies is SEK 500,000. There is no upper limit for full-scale projects, but the guideline is a maximum of 50 percent of the total project budget. Each individual project needs at least 25 percent co-financing from the business community. Funding is granted for a maximum of 4 years.

  • What happens after the call has closed?

    Once your application has been registered, we'll send a confirmation email to the person responsible for the user account, as well as to the project manager and the company signer. Please note that this may take a few hours after the call has closed.

    After the closing date, you can't register any new information. You may only add information to your application if we ask for it.

    Who can read your application?

    Applications submitted to us become official documents. However, we don't disclose information about business operations, inventions or research results if it can be assumed that someone will suffer economic damage if we do.

    This means that we must disclose the documents if someone requests them. However, we can black out information if we believe it could cause economic harm if disclosed.
