How we work with open data

Open data is digital information that is available to anyone to use. Our open data consists of information about our funding and our funded projects.

Our open data contains overall information about:

  • our programmes, calls for proposals and application rounds that make it possible to apply for funding with us
  • the research and innovation projects that we have funded

We share our open data

To share our open data in a controlled manner, we have developed so-called Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). APIs are programming interfaces that can be refined and used to build apps or web services.

Using our APIs

Vinnova's open data may be used free of charge or licence (CC0).

Our various APIs

We have four different APIs for our programmes, calls for proposals, application rounds and projects. They can be limited in two ways:

  • By stating a reference number at the end of the web address. That way the API retrieves data for the specific reference number.
  • By stating a date at the end of the web address. That way the API retrieves data updated after the stated date.

API for call documents

To be able to download our call documents (file), the reference number for the application round and the reference number for the file (the document) must be given at the end of the web address.

We have developed detailed instructions for how you use our APIs.
