VINNVÅRD - From research to practical application

The purpose of the VINNVÅRD Research Program is to support research projects that improve prerequisites for the practical implementation and use of research results in health and social care and utilize knowledge that hitherto has not been revealed. The structure of management systems and work organizations, as well as forms of cooperation between health and social care and research and companies, are important tools to promote innovation. Consequently, the research program covers the entire innovation chain.

Against this background, the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions, the Vårdal Foundation and VINNOVA initiated the VINNVÅRD Research Program.

This report, which is one way of communicating what is happening in the program, describes the current status of the nine projects that were allocated funds in connection with the fi rst call for proposed projects.
