The third PRO-INNO Europe® Annual Partnering Event takes its inspiration from the so-called Lund Declaration and its addendum issued by the Swedish Presidency Conference on the future development of European research New world - new solutions in July.
Against this background, the PRO INNO Europe® Annual Partnering Event will explore how new forms of cooperation between the different policy levels can be facilitated to provide more effective innovation support in Europe responding to the Grand Challenges, as to be identified by the European plan for innovation.
The focus of the conference are the new projects, called INNO-Net and INNO-Actions, which have just been launched under the PRO INNO Europe initiative, and will run until 2012.
VINNOVA is a partner in the three INNO-Net projects: TACTICS on clusters, EPSIS on service innovation and INNO-Partnering Forum on innovative SMEs. VINNOVA is the coordinator of the latter. EPSIS coordinated by the Finnish TEKES and Tactics of the French OSEO. These INNO-Net aim for innovation agencies in Europe to learn from each other to sharpen efforts and jointly develop better ways of supporting clusters, service innovation and innovative SMEs.
The event is primarily intended for participants of the new generation of INNO-Nets and INNO-Actions (as well as the adjacent reflection groups and councils that will be set up beforehand), but it will also be open to a limited number of other interested stakeholders.
