FORSKNING OCH INNOVATION FöR HÅLLBAR TILLVÄXT
The aim of the Emissions Research Programme (EMFO) is to give industry and authorities access to the knowledge required to develop vehicles and vehicle components in a sustainable direction. EMFO covers emissions that arise when vehicles use public roads as well as emissions from tractors and other heavy working vehicles. Emissions in this context refer to both air pollutants and noise. In addition to exhaust emissions, the programme also covers evaporation and emissions from tyres and road surface.
EMFO is run by the Programme Council for Vehicle Research which is made up of representatives of several authorities and companies, including VINNOVA.
