National FP7 Information Day Environment including Climate Change

The last calls within the EU's Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Development (FP7) opened in July 2012. This year´s budget of 8 billion euro is the largest since the start of FP7 in 2007.

The 30 August, VINNOVA and Stockholm University arranged an Information Day about the last call for research funding within FP7, Work Programme 2013 Environment including Climate Change - WP2013 ENV. The first deadline for proposals is in mid-October 2012.

The objective of WP2013 ENV is the sustainable management of the environment and its resources through advancing our knowledge of the interaction between the climate, biosphere, ecosystems and human activities and in an integrated way developing new technologies, tools and services.

The Information Day was specifically aimed at stakeholders at universities, research institutes, industries and public bodies, who are actively seeking research funding for collaborative projects within the field. It is important to note that the participation of SMEs is especially encouraged this year.
