Maria Strömme on nanodiagnostics and algae batteries
Maria Strömme is Professor of Nanotechnology at the Ångström Laboratory, Uppsala University. Researchers there are working on such areas as the development of nanodiagnostics for easy home diagnosis of diseases. Strömme’s research group also developed the “algae battery”, a polymer battery consisting of cellulose from green algae and a conductive polymer.
