The Transport Efficiency programme will create (in the short term) and guarantee (in the long term) a functioning and well-established, overarching transport arena in which relevant industries, public authorities, institutes and academic institutions develop new forms of collaboration.
On an overall level, the programme includes society, public authorities and community organisers, goods manufacturers, logistics companies, forwarding agents, repair and maintenance suppliers and vehicle producers. On a more detailed level, the programme includes such things as logistics and control of personal transport, goods transport and vehicle fleets, services, repair and maintenance of vehicles, plus vehicle properties and technical construction. The social impact is primarily through the design of traffic systems, other social infrastructures, financial controls and relevant legislation.
