European programmes and co-operation

European co-operation in research, development and innovation are becoming increasingly important to safeguard Europe's and Sweden's future competitiveness and prosperity. By participating in various partnerships and networks, VINNOVA can influence the European research agenda and design of the European programmes and initiatives within research and innovation.

VINNOVA is the national coordinator of EUREKA (European multilateral industry-led collaborative research), co-ordinates the Swedish participation in COST (European Cooperation in the Field of Scientific and Technical Research) and is also the national coordinator of the same.

VINNOVA is involved in the following European programmes and co-operation
