The Brussels’ Office is a part of the International Division at Vinnova and monitors and analyses developments in the field of the European Union research and innovation policy.
We acitvely work to put forward Swedish interests in Brussels and we aim to strengthen Swedish research and innovation in the context of the European research and innovation. We have good networks and provide connections to various stake holders in Brussels and people within the EU institutions.

Your office in Brussels
You are always welcome to contact us when you are in Brussels and to come by for a cup of coffee and a chat. Free WiFi-connection is also available. Please do not hesitate to contact the Brussels’ Office administrator, Anna Tranberg, for further information on what we can assist you with.
We are located in the European district, in the Nordic House premises on Rue du Luxembourg 3, right next to the Métro Station ‘Trône’ close to the European Commission's DG Research and Innovation, the Swedish Representation to the EU and the European Parliament.
There are a couple of alternate ways of travelling from Brussels Airport to the office.
- Train: On weekdays there is a direct train to the station Bruxelles Luxembourg, which is a 5 minute walk from the office. Tickets may be purchased either at the airport station or in advance online.
It is also possible to take the train to Gare Central from where bus nr 38 stops at Trône/Troon (right by the office). Walking from Gare Central is also an option, it is approximately 15 minutes away (see map).

- Bus: Nr 12 (nr 21 weekends and nights) goes directly from the airport to Place Luxembourg (5 min walk to the office).
- Taxi: From the airport to the office there is a 40€ fare. Before entering the car, make sure that the taxi driver accepts credit card as this is not always the case.
