SAMBIO is a research programme that aims to extend and develop collaboration between companies and academic research in the biosciences. The programme began in 2006 and is expected to run until the end of 2010.
The background to the programme is the assignment that VINNOVA received from the government to implement part of the industrial strategy programme “Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering – a part of Innovative Sweden”.
