Product realisation and the services associated with it represent a critical success factor in the attempt to achieve sustainable growth. This often requires entirely new and system-oriented, but above all multidisciplinary, approaches that entail collaboration between different technologies and fields of expertise.
Prioritised areas include new business logics and functional sales, design and innovation processes, the capacity for change and organisational development, the sustainable utilisation of resources, industrial IT and simulation and modelling. See Programme Descriptions for more information.
Four calls for applications for funding have been issued under the programme since 2003. The most recent call period ended in December 2005 and focused on SMEs.
