Complex Assembled Products is a program that was finished in 2008. The complex assembled products area is defined as the knowledge-intensive part of the manufacturing industry. The area is characterised by the fact that the engineering-based content of the products is high while the amount of repetitive work involved is low. Techniques, methods and services for the realisation of complex assembled products are of central importance.
The Complex Assembled Products programme is one of VINNOVA’s activities in the product realisation field, which covers product development, process development and production. The programme has run from 2003 to 2008 with a budget of approximately SEK 90 million for the entire period.
Complex Assembled Products complements VINNOVA’s other efforts in the field of Effective Product Realisation and the State’s R&D funding of production techniques for the automotive industry (the MERA Programme).
Two calls have been issued in the under the programme, one in 2003 and the other in 2005-2006.
